As Architects based in Southwest London, Alex Tart Architects have extensive experience working in and around the Wimbledon Area. Wimbledon is unique among London’s districts for the very varied building types and architectural styles to be found in and around Wimbledon Village, Common and the town centre respectively. Having carried out several projects in the area, we have developed an intimate understanding of Merton Council’s methods of working, and are able to build upon this as a starting point for projects.

We have been involved in several recent projects in Wimbledon. In the Copse Hill area, we have undertaken the complete refurbishment of a Grade II listed property, which required a sensitive approach to dealing with the heritage asset. Another on Lingfield Road saw us navigating the local planning policy to double the size of the clients existing house.

We find that working closely alongside our clients from the project onset is the best way to ensure their aspirations are fully captured and explored. However, we also have a number of successful projects where we were involved at other stages and are always happy to tailor our services to meet your particular project’s needs.
