Residential Wandsworth Architects
Alex Tart Architects have operated as Wandsworth architects since our foundation and have, through our numerous projects, fostered a useful working relationship with the Wandsworth planning and conservation departments. From our office situated on the Putney embankment, we are well versed in the intricacies of designing for the borough.
A recently completed house within the Wandsworth Common conservation area included the complete refurbishment of the town house in addition to the formation of a new basement, ground floor and roof extensions. Following the submission of a high quality design to the planning authorities, Alex Tart Architects skilfully negotiated approval to increase the gross internal floor area of the property by approximately 60%.
Our passion for design and a commitment to exceptional quality are the pillars that support our approach to architecture. With a great wealth of experience working in both classical and contemporary architectural styles, we are adept at utilising them both independently or in conjunction, to best respond to a project’s context and our client’s desires.
Generally, we find the best results stem from architectural involvement, from a projects infancy through to fruition. We are however, happy to modify our services to match your specific project brief.
Out team work in close correspondence with clients in order to fully comprehend their architectural vision. Offering guidance through the often complex process of construction, this highly communicative approach ensures that ideas are translated into sophisticated and practical designs.
